Cameroon legend Roger Milla warned the Indomitable Lions against complacency, ahead of their 2016 African Nations Championship second Group B outing against Ethiopia in Butare yesterday.
The Walya Antelopes were demolished 3-0 by DR Congo in their campaign opener while the Cameroonians were lucky to escape with the three points against Angola.
And another victory would see the Lions book a quarterfinals berth with one game to spare.
“We must not underestimate Ethiopia. They are very good. The midfield is very good technically and play very well with the ball,” Milla told Martin Ndtoungou Mpilé’s men.
“They would have never conceded three goals against DR Congo if they were a bit stronger physically,” added the former striker, who admitted he has been impressed by Cameroon’s defence against Angola.
“I had not seen such a pair of centre-backs in a Cameroon side for a long time,” the ‘Old Lion’ said about Mohammed Djetei Camara and Aaron Mbimbe II.
