The new commission for the appointment of referees in the League of professional football in Cameroon gives its first sanctions. Meeting February 25, 2015 in Yaoundé, it decided to punish five arbitrators three central and three assistants.
They were punished for deficiencies observed during the matches of Botafogo-Apejes and Union-Ums. The Central referees are international and assistants to the Feds. The Central referees include Mouandjo Kalla, Paul Alain Tchouta and Jérôme Mandeng Bakally. The first was suspended from 3 matches, the second from 3 matches and the last 2 matches.
Among the assistants, Etienne Wolani, Patrick Meke and Adalbert Obama Obama are those who suffer the wrath of the commission. Meke received the heaviest penalty. He is suspended for five matches. He was accused of "lack of concentration, hesitation, especially poor interpretation and application of law 11, resulting in the denial of a valid goal for Apejes of Mfou".
Other reasons for penalties are 'blind collaboration', 'bad collaboration', "lack of personality", "lack of firmness", "bad placement and displacement".
