Soleil Nyassa accuses Mebandé for Tombi's arrest

According to the candidate who dropped out during the race for the Fecafoot Presidency, the moment was poorly chosen for actions to be taken against the Secretary General of this body. The arrest of the Secretary General of the Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot) raised many reactions.

One of the many reactions was that of Soleil Nyassa, Director General of Canon Sportive de Yaoundé with the support of Tombi Roko and Robert Atah, one of the five candidates disqualified for the election postponed until February 25, 2015.

Interviewed after the incident on Radio Sport Info, Soleil Nyassa accused Brigitte Mebande, also part of the five candidates disqualified from the Fecafoot election for inciting the judicial action against Roko Tombi.

For those who know football, Mr Tombi Roko never disbursed money at the time they launched the goal project. I know from a credible source that it is Madame Mebandé who said he had misappropriated the money", he argued.

For his part, the other re-set candidate, Robert Atah, expressed his surprise on what happened to Roko Sidiki Tombi. For him, the timing was simply bad. "I'm amazed. What course of action is this? I can not imagine that things are done this way. Whatever Tombi Roko did, it is not at the time when the national team is playing that they should raise such an alarm".
