In a development published on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, Eric Martial Djomo, regional president of this association in the Littoral, called members to exhibit more professionalism in the treatment of this news.

Eric Martial Djomo, president of the Regional Coordination of the Association of Sports journalists (AJSC) did not appreciate the manner with which some members of his association engaged in battle during the elections for the renewal of the governing bodies of the Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot).

In a note made public Tuesday, November 11, 2014, he called to order those who "have decided since the initiation of the process decided to belong and support fields protagonists shamelessly", trampling on the journalistic ethics that should govern on a daily basis the work of media men and women.

He therefore condemned their "unsavory attitude in this profession, especially as it comes from journalists who are supposed to be examples for the younger generation". "Dignity and objectivity, these are the two expressions which should govern the treatment of information in the context of these elections into the FECAFOOT and their daily work," he revealed.

During the weekly meeting of Friday, 7th November 2014, several members had requested the suspension of their colleagues involved alongside the candidates in the election battle, just as they decried the partisan treatment of this news by certain radio channels from the economic capital.
