Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in talks with Lyon to sign their young Cameroon forward, Clinton N'Jie.
According to Sky Sports News, Spurs have approached the club in an attempt to land the 21-year-old striker, who sat out of Lyon's opening day clash against Lorient on Sunday.
N'Jie has been a revelation for the Indomitable Lions over the past year and chipped in with seven goals in 30 appearances for his club side last term. Spurs are eager to bolster their attack, with Mauricio Pochettino keen on bringing in competition for star striker, Harry Kane.
Pochettino hasn't confirmed interest in N'Jie, but did reveal that the club are keen on signing a few more players before the transfer window shuts close.
"I never speak about rumours. If you check in the last few weeks, a lot of names are linked with us," Pochettino said.
"But this is private, our target and I hope it can happen quick. It is very clear we need to add more players."
The North London club previously missed out on Danny Ings and Anthony Martial, with Ings joining Liverpool and the latter opting to remain at Monaco.
