The Cameroon football Federation elections will take place between 10 and 29 November 2014 in Yaoundé where the successor to Iya Mohammed, outgoing president will be made known.
On the starting line, so far only renowned journalist, Eboa Elame Mikado, had declared his candidacy. But Roger Milla has for some time now been advertised as a probable candidate for the succession of Iya Mohammed.
His candidacy is declared and was sparked by admirers and other personality members of a Committee called the “Committees in support of the Candidature of Roger Milla to the position of president of the Fecafoot".
While awaiting the reaction of the former glory of the indomitable Lions, the leaders of this Committee stated that there is a serious chance that this s candidacy proposal to prospers. "We cannot commit to anything. The old Lion with whom we support has a concern which is to write a new page in the Cameroonian football" says Dechato Kamdou, Chairman of the Committee of support for the nomination of Roger Milla.
"We are waiting to make a real revolution in the Cameroonian football and we felt that Roger Milla has the adequate profile to carry our aspirations" he explains.
The ancient talented Footballer, Roger Milla was honorary president of the Cameroonian Federation of football between 2008 and 2012.
The roving Ambassador to the Republic of Cameroon, the Champion of Africa 1984 and 1988 has for over years opposed the leaders of Fecafoot. It is in this context that he founded last year with Emmanuel Mvé, also former glory of the indomitable Lions, the citizen Committee for the rehabilitation of the Cameroonian football.
