Tombi A Roko can be a candidate - Joseph Owona

The Chairman of the standardisation Committee explained that Tombi A Roko is not part of the standardization Committee and can, like any other Cameroonian apply to this election.

The deadline to file applications for the elections to the Presidency of the Cameroon Football Federation scheduled for November 29, 2014 was Monday, November 17, 2014.

According to many indiscretions, Tombi A Roko Sidiki, the current Secretary General of the Federation would has already applied, what many of his potential opponents in this election considered cheating.

Facing the press Monday, November 17, 2014, Joseph Owona, president of this institution wanted to settle the debate.

"I do not know if at the present time, he is candidate. Mr (Sepp) Blatter is a former Secretary General of Fifa. Mr Tombi A Roko is not a member of the standards Committee. He is not the one who made the laws. It is us, the Committee who made the laws. And so I ask everyone: what laws benefits Mr Tombi? I would like to reassure you that no member of the County of standardization is a candidate. These laws are good, they are impartial. We have invented nothing. We enforce the law, nothing than the law." explained the boss of the ridge of the Cameroonian football Forum.

Tombi A Roko Sidiki whose application has been sought by most of the delegates of Iya Mohammed, former president currently deprived of liberty could have as opponents, Joseph Antoine Bell, the former goalkeeper of the indomitable lions, Jules Nyongha, former player and former coach of the lions, Joseph Feutcheu, Eboa Elame Mikado, Robert Pene, Robert Atah.
