The arrival of Tombi A Roko Sidiki, the Secretary General of the Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot) and Joseph Owona, the Chairman of the Standardization Committee of Fecafoot were announced Monday, January 19 at Malabo where the national team of Cameroon prepares for the final phase of the AFCON 2015.
Tombi A Roko who resides in Yaoundé, left for the Douala International Airport to pick a flight to Equatorial Guinea but he was prevented from flying to Malabo as he was stopped and arrested by the police, who took his passport. He was later released noted a source close to the police at the Douala International Airport.
Reason for this ban to travel from the administration of the Fecafoot boss so far is unknown. However, some people believe that it is connected to the many controversies that arose in his candidacy for the Fecafoot Presidency.
However, "he will eventually travel and he will not withdraw his candidacy for the future federal election" responded the unmoved Tombi A Roko.
