In the wake of the 2015 CAF African Cup of Nations draw that was conducted in Equatorial Guinea on Wednesday night, Ivory Coast defender, Kolo Toure believes it’s going to be a great tournament.
The Elephants were drawn in Group D with Cameroon, Mali and Guinea and the Liverpool defender says the group is well balanced.
According to CAF, their first match will be against Guinea on January 20 followed by Mali on the 24th before facing the Indomitable Lions four days later.
“It is going to be great again, and I hope as much as in our previous campaign there before the semi-final and the final,” said Toure.
“The Group is well-balanced, the most determined teams on the pitch will go through.
“We must not just concentrate on Cameroon, there will be other matches before that.
“But I can say that against Cameroon at the Afcon, it will be a completely different game.”
During the qualifiers, Herve Renard’s side were defeated 4-1 in Yaoundé against Cameroon before playing to a goalless draw in Abidjan.
The tournament is set to get underway on January 17 until February 08 of 2015 in the central African country.
