The Cameroon U-20 National Team of Cameroon has maintained the hope of qualifying for the 10th edition of the U-20 African Cup of Nations scheduled to take place in Zambia in 2017.
The baby lions crushed Zimbabwe 3-0 last Sunday June 12 at the Bafoussam Omnisport stadium to reached the third and last round qualifiers billed for July 8.
Driven by an estimated 15,000 spectators, the Lions dominated the entire game scoring two goals in the first half before finishing the third, two minutes to regular time.
With a peaceful and imperative win in Bafoussam, the Lions on the other hand inaugurated the newly homologated football facility that was built recently and hosted an international competition for its first time.
During the first leg in Harare, both teams separated on a virgin tie. Cameroon will play Libya in the last round qualifiers of the 2017 U-20 AFCON.
