The competition is over, yet the Cameroonian delegation to Brazil is back. Amongst the personalities in Brazil were two key NorthWest FECAFOOT officials.
Surprisingly, John B. Ndeh, who calls the shots in NorthWest, was not in Brazil.
Instead his Vice, Hilary Fortibuh and his Secretary General, Christopher Kaba carried the NorthWest flag to Brazil. Their return has seemingly sparked a major controversy.
Last week, the city of Bamenda was inundated with allegations that Hilary Fortibuh usurped what was not meant for him, in going to Brazil.
Furthermore, it was Christopher Kaba, the Secretary General of NorthWest FECAFOOT, recommended by John B. Ndeh, to go to Brazil.
The allegation was more so, given that the lions performed dismally. Worse still, a few months ago, in the heat of the FECAFOOT crisis, allegations were rife that Kaba played a betrayal role on John B Ndeh.
Many have since questioned could it be the same John B Ndeh, who could recommend Kaba to represent him in Brazil? Definitely not.
But when Chronicle met with Hilary Fortibuh, he confirmed the fact that it was Kaba, not him that John B Ndeh assigned to Brazil. Fortibuh told Chronicle that he went to Brazil by God’s symmetry, yet dispelled allegations that he reaped the package destined for the NW FECAFOOT boss.
According to Fortibuh, it was not even worthwhile going to Brazil given that they watched all three matches on television screens, not at the stadium.
