Fair-play Award launched in honour of Ebosse

The Confederation of African Football, CAF has instituted a fair-play prize in honour of late Albert Ebosse on October 23, in Algeria.

Among other decisions was "the Establishment of the Fair-Play Award named after Albert Ebosse to be awarded every year to a member association based on a fair-play rating adopted by ExCo and to be applied in all CAF competitions for clubs and national teams of each member association”.

The decision was arrived at during the CAF Executive Committee meeting that was held in Ethiopia to decide on the host of the African Nations Cup for the next three years.

Also, there is going to be the Constitution of a Task-force to brainstorm on how to fight against violence and age cheating in African football.
