WATCH: Joel Embiid make one-handed three point shot

The Sixers beat the Washington Wizards 89-81 Friday night at the Wells Fargo Center, but one of the more encouraging things took place even before the opening tip off.

it is entirely possible that the rookie center and the third overall pick in last summer's NBA Draft Joel Embiid could miss the entire season while recovering from a fractured foot. However, that hasn't stopped the Kansas product from getting some work in during practice and pre-game warmups alike.

On Friday, Embiid's range and defensive prowess were on display when the seven-foot center made a three pointer with one hand and then blocked a shot attempt by Sixers head coach Brett Brown.

The team tweeted a vine video highlighting some of Embiid's pre-game work:

Embiid has been going through a similar routine throughout most of the season, but it is encouraging that as time goes on he does not appear to have suffered any setbacks with the injury.
