We will match CMR strength for strength- Onome Ebi

Onome Ebi is confident that she and her teammates will match the physical strength of the Indomitable Lioness of Cameroon in the finals of the African Women Championship to be decided at the Sam Nujoma Stadium on Saturday.

Cameroonians have a very physical side compared to the sleek passing game exhibited by the Super Falcons so far in the tournament. Football watchers here believe that Cameroon might have a 'muscle advantage' over the Super Falcons the way they did to their opponents on their way to the final.

But Ebi who has been a rock in the Falcons defence noted that the final against Cameroon will be fought strength for strength. Her performance against South Africa was a key factor at denying the Bayana Bayana a clear chance at goal.

"We are going all out for Cameroon. The Super Falcons are a strong team and we do understand ourselves very well. "Now that we have got the world cup ticket we want the trophy as well," said the player who is based in Belarus.

She explained that the motivation behind her performance against South Africa was because she just wanted to avenge the defeat she suffered in the hands of the Bayana Bayana in the last edition.

"I was inspired by the fact that l lost to the South Africans the last time. But this time I just wanted to win and thank God we did."
