With a team in reconstruction, Cameroon will not have an easy task before the Fennecs of Algeria, the best football team of the African continent. Algeria, which is given grand favorite, is the first that will provide hospitality for the Cameroon team.
This will be in Algiers on Monday, October 3, 2016. The Indomitable Lions will play their first home game against Zambia on November 7, 2016 which is also on a Monday.
Then coach Hugo Broos and his boys will travel to Nigeria for a third day scheduled on Monday, August 28, 2017. A match that will mark also the end of the first phase.
The Super Eagles will be in Cameroon less than a week after the return phase to begin, specifically on Saturday, September 2, 2017. The Indomitable Lions will then host Algeria on 2 October 2017 before going to deliver the final game of these playoffs in Zambia on November 6th, 2017.
