The John Abraham owned team have roped in Cameroon centre-back in order to strengthen their rearguard
In a bid to resurrect their leaking defence, NorthEast United have signed experienced Cameroon defender, Andre Bikey.
With Miguel Garcia, Boubacar Sanogo and Kondwani Mtonga being ruled out of the Indian Super League (ISL) due to injuries, the North-East franchise have allowed to rope in their replacements.
The 30-year-old was a free agent, having left England’s Championship side, Charlton Athletic at the end of a one-year contract.
He has had spells in Greece, Portugal, Russia and has a lot of Premier League experience up his sleeve.
He has played for a total of five English clubs, namely Burnley, Reading, Bristol City, Middlesborough and Charlton.
Bikey is known for his physical presence and is also capable of scoring a goal or two at the other end.
