Mgr Jean Mbarga prays with student after their mate perish in accident

With their braze band, fluids and saxophones pupils and students of mission, lay private and Government schools and colleges in Yaoundé led the procession at the Our Lady Victory Cathedral in Yaounde, for the back to school solemn mass.

The Apostolic administrator of the Yaoundé Archdiocese Mgr Jean Mbarga prayed in communion with the pupils and students for a successful 2014/2015 School year void of accidents.

The mass came days after at least ten students were killed and several others injured in an accident at the Biyem Assi neighbourhood in Yaounde.

In his homily, Bishop Jean Mbarga warned against the promotion of ungodly practices that seek to destroy the youths.

In praise and worship the student and pupils prayed and thank God of their lives and a successful kick off of the school year. They also prayed for a quick recovery of their mates victims of the ghastly accident in Biyam Assi.

As the school children are blessed with the abundant gift of God, Mgr Jean Mbarga gave them a rendez vous for the end of the year to celebrates their success as they return to work and pray in the peace and love of Jesus Christ
