PCC: Rev. Festus Asana to step down at the end of his first mandate

The Moderator of the PCC, the Right Rev. Festus Asana has said he intends to step down at the end of his mandate this year. Speaking as guest worshipper during a church service this weekend at the PCC Ntamulung where he joined christains there to celebrate Palm Sunday, The moderator said he come into office peacefully and will leave peacefully.

Though without revealing who and what, he said he has heard so many disturbing things, but above all called on Christians of the PCC to put the church into prayers so that God should show them the right person to Sheppard his flock in the PCC.

Rev Dr Festus Asana was inducted as the moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon (PCC) On February 28, 2010. Before becoming moderator, he was Synod clerk for 10 years. During his tenure of office, he has seen the creation of the Christian University of Cameroon with main campus in Bali as one of his main achievement.
