PCC men’s executive dedicated in Kumbo

The new leadership of the Christian Men’s Fellowship of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon was commissioned by Right Rev. Fonki Samuel Forba.

The Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon, Right Rev. Fonki Samuel Forba, accompanied by the Synod Clerk and several pastors, recently dedicated the national executive of the Christian Men’s Fellowship, CMF. The event took place in the Kumbo Presbyterian Church in Bui Division of the North West Region.

The new executive is made up of Asah William Mbenkum as National President, Fon Mokom Elias, Vice President, Awah Richard, National Social Secretary, Ngoe Lucas, National Financial Secretary, Fon Nkwenti Samuel, Treasurer and Tanjong Boma Oliver, William, Tuva Njie and Chief Mosenge Humphrey, as auditors.

Right Rev. Fonki his sermon entitled, “Do It God’s Way,” implored the new executive to do things God’s way so as to take the movement to greater heights. He said God had a purpose for their lives that was greater than being members.

The outgoing National President of CMF, Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle, said the main task for the new team was to reconcile estranged members and recover missing money.

He presented Asah William Mbenkum with a pocket Bible and advised him and his team to steer clear of CMF funds. On his part, Mbenkum William thanked the past President who sustained the movement and grew its membership to 19,000. He announced that the construction of the CMF National Secretariat will cost over FCFA 200 million and appealed for contributions.

The dedication ceremony held in the presence of the Senior Divisional Officer for Bui, Nzeki Theophile, the Divisional Officer for Kumbo, Nkamto Francis Ndifor, the Mayor of Kumbo Council, Njong Donatus Fonyuy and the Fons of Nso and Oku.

Also attending the event was the Bui Presbytery Chairman, Wirkom Fidelis, who appealed to the PCC Moderator to reopen the Presbook Centre in Kumbo.
