One day I'll be in the big leagues - Clinton Njie

With two assists in the last four games, Clinton Njie is now out to silence his critics on his effectiveness. The Cameroonian OL striker, 21, still believes the title chances of his team. He also talks about his career and dreams.

Do you still have a chance to be champions?

CLINTON NJIE. Yes. It'll be difficult, but possible. Paris is only three points ahead of us. I still believe. But from our side, it takes four wins from four or nothing.

Are you impressed by the form of PSG?

Yes. Especially it is difficult to bounce back after elimination in the Champions League. PSG responded in fine style and showed that it is a great team. I do not know where Paris can lose the points, but in football anything can happen.

Do you support the opponents of the Parisians, these days?

I have not seen the last two games of PSG, because we lead during this time. But otherwise, I look matches, yes. For sure I will be happy if PSG lose.

You are the man in form in Lyon, what has changed in recent weeks?

I listened to the advice of the staff. I run better when I arrive in front of goal. I rushed over. The coach Hubert Fournier has also helped me tremendously. I try to make him see the rewards of the confidence he gave me.

When did you know you'd be a footballer?

I've always known. That's why I agreed to leave my parents (to 13 years) to Douala.

How is your feedback in Cameroon?

It's crazy, though. There are always people around me, when I arrive in the country. I come from a small town (Buea, Southwest) and I cannot walk the streets quietly. In Cameroon, many people like me. It's good to share what comes in with people, even if sometimes it's tiring.

Is it true you're aiming thirty goals in a season?

Alex (Lacazette) is not far away, it gives ideas. He is young and hardworking.

I think I can do that too. I do not know if I can reach the level of Messi or Ronaldo, but I know one day I'll be in the big leagues.
